Afternoon shift - 3:00PM to 11:00PM (Loaders and offcoil machine operators)
$42 per hour + LOTS of overtime and weekends!

Our client, a leader in steel processing and fabrication, is actively seeking multiple overhead crane loaders and off-coil machine operators for afternoon shift to join their high-performing team in Derrimut This is your opportunity to work with a reputable company offering competitive hourly rates, and a strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork.
About the role (Loader):
Operating overhead cranes to load steel coils onto off-coil machinery
Operating overhead cranes to move product from machine bays into storage
Operating overhead cranes to load and unload trucks
Tying steel bundles post production in machine bays
Coordinating with machine operators and labourers
RF Scanning
About the role (Machine operator):
Operating steel reinforcing machinery such as Off-coil machines, manual benders, and shearline machines to cut and shape steel reo bar
Read and interpret plans and orders
Process orders and complete in a timely manner
Troubleshoot machinery and coordinate with management
Set up and maintain machinery
About you:
Previous experience operating overhead cranes is required for loader positions.
Experience with machinery operating is required for machine operating positions.
Experience in a steel reinforcing environment is heavily considered
Available Monday to Friday
Able to co-ordinate as part of a team environment
Able to operate in a safe manner
