Roles and Responsibility
Job Responsibilities:
Assemble mechanical components and prosthetic parts according to specifications.
Follow technical drawings, work instructions, and safety guidelines during assembly.
Inspect and test assembled parts to ensure proper fit and functionality.
Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments for precision assembly.
Identify and resolve assembly issues to maintain quality standards.
Maintain tools, equipment, and workspace in good condition.
Collaborate with engineers and technicians to improve assembly processes.
Required Qualities
Travel- On-site involvement in , measurement, and fitment of prosthetic parts
Communication skills - The candidate must have excellent communication skills. They must be able to communicate effectively with the technicians who often create medical devices.
Organizational skills – The candidate must have Strong organizational skills, including good recordkeeping, which are critical in both medical and business settings.
Patience. Candidate may work for long periods with patiece.
Physical dexterity - Candidate must be good at working with their hands. They may design with intricate mechanical parts.
Physical stamina – The candidate should be comfortable performing physical tasks, such as working with shop equipment and hand tools. They may spend a lot of time bending over or crouching to examine or measure patients.
Problem-solving skills - Candidate must evaluate their patients’ situations and often look for creative solutions to their rehabilitation needs
COMMUNICATION:
1) Communicating with people outside the organization, representing the organization to beneficiaries, the public, and other stakeholders.
2) Fit, test, and evaluate devices on patients, and make adjustments for proper fit, function, and comfort
3) Repair, rebuild, and modify machining appliances
Towards NGO managers:
Reporting and coordinating daily activities of the work.
Educational qualifications:
1. ITI/DME.

Reporting Location Mumbai along with travel to different locations for short term mobility camps as per necessity

We organize mobility camps nationwide providing Free Jaipur Foot , Calipers and other mobility aids to disabled people irrespective of caste or religion.
The Trust has reached out to more than 2.50 lakh patients in past 20 years.
Ratna Nidhi has a fully equipped Jaipur Foot and Caliper fitment center at Mahalaxmi, Mumbai which is manned by trained technicians and equipped with all the machinery required to fabricate Jaipur Foot or Calipers within a matter of hours.
We also serve free food to 3000 school children across 22 low income schools in Mumbai, which is prepared at our kitchen in Khetwadi, Mumbai.
We have started the Mission Million Books Project in association with World Bank-USA, which aims to distribute 1 million educational books to more than 10,000 schools and colleges in India. Over 1.30 million books have been donated to over 4000 schools and colleges in India in the past 8 years.
We have launched Vision 1 Million with Essilor Vision Foundation which manufactures and donate free of cost high-quality prescription eyeglasses to school children and adults in Maharashtra
We have a Mou with Govt of Maharashtra to work in all districts with their help to make an impact in prosthetics, library creation & vision for zp students
