Since 1+6+, TRAC Engine Services Ltd has been a proud provider of heavy-duty engine machining services in Edmonton. We service both diesel and natural gas engines to support the mining, oilfield, construction, and agricultural sectors of Western Canada. TRAC is a full-service engine machine shop, specializing in repairing and machining engine blocks, crankshafts, cylinder heads, and connecting rods on all varying makes and models - such as Caterpillar, Cummins, John Deere, Waukesha, Arrow, Komatsu, and many others.

The Job

This role will work alongside a handful of other technicians in our shipping/receiving, dismantling, and wash bays. They will be responsible for unloading, dismantling, cleaning, stamping, and delivering components to their respective departments. This role will also require driving a flat deck or pickup truck, so a class 5 driver's license is required.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate for this job isn't afraid to get their hands dirty, is physically able to lift up to 50lbs, and enjoys cooperating with a team to accomplish tasks.

Job requirements:

·Class 5 Driver's License, experience securing heavy/large loads is an asset

· Forklift certified, 1+ year of forklift experience

· Able to safely operate overhead cranes and rigging/hoisting devices

· Strong mechanical aptitude, experience with a variety of hand tools

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Self-motivated while working in a team environment

· Excellent time management skills

· Must be able to maintain a clean working environment

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
