Job Description
Support remote machinery surveillance activities, by carrying out detailed diagnosis for troubleshooting and root cause failure analyses.
• Support machinery surveillance engineer by carrying out detailed analysis for the anomalies detected utilizing available Equipment health monitoring tools.
• Support machinery troubleshooting remotely / through site support.
• Support machinery reliability, integrity, and optimization initiatives.
• Support in Thermodynamic performance analysis for machinery class like pumps, compressors, gas turbines.
• Review lube oil reports and provide actionable recommendations.
• Support in evaluating and qualifying new technologies in Equipment Health Monitoring.
• Support in optimizing the equipment health monitoring tools for improving the efficiency of the system.
• Support in performing technical quality checks on the surveillance process carried out by surveillance engineers and help in improving the process.
• Mentor less experienced machinery engineers.
Preferred Qualifications/ Experience
• Vibration level 2 certification from MOBIUS/BINDT/Equivalent
• Machinery Lubrication Analyst (MLA) Certification
• General knowledge of oil and gas production operations and facilities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Skills And Qualifications
• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, or closely related Engineering field from a recognized university with GPA 6.0 or above
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Diagnostic engineer role performing Machinery health monitoring, analysis, and Troubleshooting.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas/Petrochemical/Fertilizer industry.
• Experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting issues of centrifugal compressors, steam turbines, HD and Aero gas turbines, Extruders, reciprocating engines, motors, generators and pumps and related systems (like lube oil, seal, steam) by utilizing Equipment health monitoring tools.
• Experience in carrying out in situ balancing, site/remote diagnostic experience using online/visualization tools like Prognost, System1, Shinkawa, Seeq, JMP and offline tools like ADRE, Emerson, SKF, BN, etc.
• Experience in understanding and interpreting various machinery lubrication test reports.
• Knowledge in maintenance and reliability concepts and applications
