Machinist

Position: Machinist

Pay Rate: $20 – $23 per hour

Hours: 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Location: Brampton, ON

Job Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Valid forklift license is an asset.

Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Machinist in a manufacturing setting.

Solid understanding of production processes with a focus on quality control and operational efficiency.

Hands-on experience operating manual machines.

Proficiency with screw machine products, lathes, and milling machines.

Strong technical knowledge of cutting and grinding tools used for shaping materials, especially metals.

Well-versed in various manufacturing techniques and practices.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a high-paced environment.

Strong mechanical aptitude and experience working with machinery, including steel forming systems.

Ability to read, interpret, and work from blueprints, technical drawings, and design specifications.

Comfortable working with numbers, precise measurements, and detailed design instructions.

Skilled in the safe and effective use of hand tools.

Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work efficiently under pressure.

Committed to following safety protocols and maintaining a safe, clean work environment.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
