Solution IT Inc. is looking for a Mainframe Database Administrator (DBA) / Analyst for one of its clients - Atlanta, GA Job Title - Mainframe Database Administrator (DBA) / Analyst Job Description: Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Mainframe Database Analyst or Systems Programmer with expertise in z/Db2, IMS DB/DC, and/or ADABAS to join our enterprise infrastructure team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing mainframe database platforms to ensure high performance, availability, security, and scalability of enterprise applications. Required Skills:
• 8+ years of hands-on experience with z/Db2, IMS DB/DC, and/or ADABAS.
• Strong knowledge of IBM DB2 database administration on z/OS.
• Proficiency in SQL, data partitioning, indexing, and data sharing concepts.
• Experience with IIDR IBM Infosphere Data Replication Suite.
• Working knowledge of zConnect (zCEE) API framework.
• Solid experience with JCL and mainframe operating system concepts.
• Proven troubleshooting, performance tuning, and incident resolution skills.
• Familiar with backup/recovery and DR planning in enterprise environments.
