The Database Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining IMS and DB2 databases, designing database structures, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring effective database replication. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring performance, backing up data, and providing support for database-related issues.
Qualifications
Expertise in Database Administration and Database Design
Proficiency in Troubleshooting and resolving database-related issues
Hands-on experience with managing and maintaining Databases
Knowledge of database Replication processes
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and remotely
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Experience with IMS and DB2 systems is preferred
