Job Title: Mainframe Developer

Location: Chennai, India (willing to relocate)

Position Description:

Around 5 to 8 years of experience in IT Experience in Mainframe DB2, COBOL, JCL skills Need resource with strong knowledge in Cobol, DB2, SQL, Stored Procedures and JCLs. Experience using CA7 and Endevor tool Good understanding on RDBMS and Ability to write efficient database queries and fine tune queries using SQL

Additional Skills (Preferred): IMS DC/DB knowledge and exposure to Web Based Java Technologies Relevant experience in development and production support. Experience is SDLC, Agile and DevOps methodologies Experience in Incident Management, Problem Management, Request Fulfillment processes Good understanding of IT Security and Controls Exposure to Quality Control Procedures and Practices Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Able to work independently, liaison with business and other stakeholders Possess a continuous improvement mindset Should be a self-starter with ability to work on complex changes with minimal guidance. Should be willing to work on production support items and development at the same time
