We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about coding and developing scalable and high-performance applications. You will work closely with our developers, designers, and other members of the team to deliver quality solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
Your future duties and responsibilities
• Complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories and concepts in the field
• Experience in Coding, QA, Testing and ability to work in a high-volume capacity
• Ability to provide and implement technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems
• Solutions are innovative, thorough, practical and consistent with organizational objectives
• Ability to lead discussions with all levels of the organization and provide balanced information of an idea or communication of an issue regardless of written or verbal
• Lead efforts to develop standard practices, components, guidelines for use of complex technology components.
• Lead actions to determine root cause of problems and drive resolution.
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
Position: Senior Software Engineer
Experience: 3 to 6 Years
Main location: Hyderabad and Bangalore
Must-Have Skills:
• 3+ years relevant experience in Mainframe, COBOL, JCL, CICS, CA-7, VSAM.
• Experience with IMS / DB2 / CICS / MQ experience and anything with z/OZ connect
• IBM Mainframe System - COBOL, JCL, CICS, SQL, z/OS,CA7, VSAM, XML, TSO/ISPF, ROSCOE
• Expertise in JCL, JES
• IT Tools - IBM Debug tool for z/OS, IBM Fault Analyzer.
• Hands on experience in DB2
• Hands on experience with webservice integration is preferred.
• Knowledge to use CICS analysis and performance tool like TMON is desirable.
Good-to-Have Skills:
• Knowledge to use DB2 performance tool like BMC MAINVIEW is desirable
