Design, develop, and test mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, and PL/I.
Collaborate with other developers to ensure the creation of a cohesive and efficient application.
Analyze system requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Perform coding and unit testing to ensure application functionality and performance.
Conduct system integration testing and assist in resolving any identified issues.
Debug and troubleshoot application defects and provide timely resolutions.
Maintain and update existing mainframe applications as required.
Adhere to coding standards and best practices in application development.
Provide documentation and technical support for developed applications.
Stay updated with industry trends and technologies related to mainframe development
