<\/li><\/ul><\/div>Role & Responsibilities:<\/span><\/span><\/u><\/b>

<\/div>
• Adhere to security and control, and change control processes

<\/li>
• Design, develop and maintain Mainframe COBOL and IMS code to meet support and/or project requirements.

<\/li>
• Interface with business and IT teams to understand business requirements and translate business requirements into formal technical requirements and application code.

<\/li>
• Work with IT support teams (DBA, server teams) to ensure support and project requirements are developed and successfully implemented

<\/li>
• Develop and execute unit test and integration plans/scripts to validate that application changes meet technical specifications.

<\/li>
• Responsible for an important part of the full System Development Life Cycle

<\/li>
• Work with business team to complete acceptance testing and participate in integration testing

<\/li>
• Participate in production support/ duty rotation including weekend and off -hour support coverage

<\/li>
• Provide Solution Delivery Methodology artefacts associated with application components.

<\/li>
• Participate in technical reviews at appropriate stages of development

• COBOL

• IMS as transaction manager

<\/li>
• DB2 with SQL

• JCL

• IT technical background & mainframe programming experience

• Experience in all components of software delivery with concentration in requirements, design and development.

• Quick starter to troubleshoot/resolve incidents and business support items

<\/li>
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

<\/li>
• Ability to multi -task effectively

<\/li>
• Prioritize Business Impact and Urgency

• Perform application support tasks like: systems support, security reviews, & maintenance tasks

• Testing experience
