Looking for only immediate Joiners
Location- Mumbai, Pune, Chennai and Bangalore.
Exp : 4 To 6 Years.
Skill : Mainframe Developer
Main Skill: COBOL, JCL, VSAM, CICS and DB2.
• Experience: 4+ years of strong hands-on experience with mainframe in development, enhancement & application support areas.
• Mandatory technical skills: Strong hands-on experience in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, CICS and DB2.
• Mandatory domain knowledge: Insurance domain especially on Property & Casualty lines.
• This is a Canadian client, so the associate will have to work in 2nd shift (12-+pm).
• Good to have skills:
o Experience with version management tools like Endevor.
o Schedulers – OPC .
o Job abend analysis tools - Abend-Aid, Dumpmaster, Tracemaster, INSYNC, SPUFI.
• Responsible for Mainframe Application enhancement, maintenance & production support.
• Facilitate requirement gathering & prepare design documents.
• Perform Impact Analysis across multiple platforms and applications.
• Deliver complete documentation for estimates, design and development.
• Follow established configuration/change control processes.
• Ability to work in multiple environments, support System testing, UAT, integrated applications and perform multiple tasks.
• Research and resolve production issues, troubleshooting of mainframe on-line and batch abends.
• Update the system documentation/flow diagrams as and when required.
• Evaluate daily and monthly batch process to improve performance.
• Act as mentor and coach for other staff & prepare Knowledge capture documents.
• Knowledge required about Billing & Policy Management flows.
• Good communication skills since daily customer interaction needed.
