Knowledge of – COBOL, JCL, and DB2 Good to Know – CICS, VSAM, REXX.
Role Summary
Reviews, analyses, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing for a large-scale mainframe computer system. Maintains and develops online and batch application programs. Develops and implements a disaster recovery plan. Works with project members to develop specifications, diagrams, and flowcharts.
Writing queries used for front-end applications (websites, desktop applications, or cloud apps).
Organize client meets as per requirement.
Job Responsibilities
• Knowledge of mainframes in detail.
• Knowledge of Database architecture (Recovery like Database / Datafiles / Tablespaces).
• Improve productivity of existing stored procedures, tables, triggers, and indexes.
• Support as a team member and encourage team building and confidence with individual members of the team.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet inflexible deadlines.
• Should have good written and verbal communication skills.
• Support the development team in the implementation of new application features and system changes.
• Analyse, solve, and correct issues in real-time, providing end-to-end problem resolution.
• Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes.
