We are seeking Two Instrumentation Maintainers to join our central maintenance teams at the following locations:

Taupo - Nga Awa Purua, Rotokawa, Nga Tamariki & Mokai ( 30-20 Mins from Taupo )
Rotorua - Kawerau Geothermal Station (1 hour from Rotorua )
We are looking for people with a control and instrumentation background, having experience with a wide variety of industrial instrumentation, control valves and actuators, control systems (PLC's, HMI's) and analysers, and also have an Electrician or Electrical Service Technican Registeration. The roles work alongside staff from maintenance, production, engineering, and other Mercury generation sites to ensure that this process is optimised, reliable and safe.

You'll join a close knit team that values supporting each other and putting safety first. This role offers the unique chance to work across multiple Geothermal Power stations predominantly located around Taupo and Rotorua area, with opportunities to gain exposure to Hydro power stations along the Waikato River. While you may be primarily aligned to one fuel type, you'll be expected to work across both, gaining experience in a range of generation environments.

The positions come with the flexibility and autonomy to adapt to suit the individual strengths. We offer flexible working arrangements to suit both you, our teams and our business (e.g. adjusted hours, * day fortnights).

In addition to your competitive salary, you will receive a laptop and mobile phone for day-to-day use. Overtime opportunities do come up during outages, but your day to day work is steady and predictable. We also support carpooling within our squads making the daily commute easier and more social.

Execution of scheduled planned maintenance
Identify, share, and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Collect and document plant performance and maintenance history
Champion a world class attitude to health and safety management

Tā mātou e kimi nei | We are looking for:

Advanced trade level Instrumentation qualification essential - Industrial Measurement and Control (IMC) or similar
Electrical registration or EST
Hazardous Area endorsement is highly advantageous, Where not already held, the successful candidate must be willing to work towards obtaining a Hazardous Area endorsement within an agreed timeframe.
Experience in plant operations, process control or maintenance experience in a manufacturing or heavy process industry
Experience with control and instrumentation maintenance in a power generation environment would be desirable
High level of computer literacy
