Maintenance and Repairs Engineer – Foundation Equipment/Piling Rigs/Excavators
Location: Mumbai & Chennai
Employment Type: On-Roll Position (OEM)
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance & Repairs:
Perform routine and preventive maintenance for foundation equipment, piling rigs, and excavators.
Diagnose and repair hydraulic and electrical systems to ensure optimal machine performance.
Address mechanical issues to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
Hydraulic Systems:
Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic systems, including pumps, valves, cylinders, and motors.
Maintain proper pressure levels and ensure system integrity.
Electrical Systems:
Diagnose faults in electrical circuits, control panels, and wiring systems.
Conduct repairs on components such as sensors, relays, motors, and switches.
Equipment Inspections:
Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues or risks.
Maintain detailed inspection and service records for each machine.
Support Operations:
Collaborate with the operations team to ensure machinery is available and functional for projects.
Provide on-site support during critical equipment failure.
Spare Parts Management:
Coordinate with the procurement team to manage inventory for essential spare parts.
Ensure timely availability of parts for repairs and replacements.
Compliance & Safety:
Adhere to OEM maintenance guidelines and standards.
Follow all safety protocols during equipment handling and repairs.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
Education: Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Experience:
Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience with foundation equipment, piling rigs, or excavators.
Strong expertise in hydraulic and electrical systems troubleshooting and repair.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in reading and interpreting hydraulic and electrical schematics.
Familiarity with diagnostic tools for heavy equipment.
Other Skills:
Strong problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to travel or work on-site as required.
