Job Description
Maintenance engineers' work involves checking, repairing and servicing machinery, equipment, systems and infrastructures. Maintenance engineers ensure that industrial machinery and equipment runs smoothly and reliably. Their work typically involves planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance.
Duties & Responsibilities
• General Maintenance, troubleshooting, backup, hardware replacement.
• Solving machine breakdowns during shift and Cluster InCharge.
• Responsible for safety of self and subordinates during shift, following all established safety SOPs.
• Added advantage, if candidate can operate conventional M/C.
• Candidate Should be able to Use all instruments., viz., Gauges, Vernier, Megger, OHM Meter, Multimeter.
• Proper Documentation work of Maintenance job & M/C History card.
• Generate spare parts requirement & Maintain stock, to upkeep Machining lines.
• Trend monitoring (Motor load, current, Temperature, Spare consumption)
• Making SOPs and fill all the daily/PM check sheets.
• Managing man power in shift planning and undertaking Preventive maintenance supervising engineering and technical staff.
• Conducting periodic maintenance of plant machines/equipment & utility equipment maintenance.
• Calculate MTTR, MTBF-Optional)
• Handling shifts independently .Roles and Responsibilities
