Job Description
This is a full-time position.
With your primary focus on machinery preventative maintenance, you will be required to provide support to the Maintenance Manager. It will be important that you fit in an easy-going, but hardworking team environment and are able to be flexible with start and finish times.
Some of the Duties and Responsibilities:
This is a key position within our team and on a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for providing a high level of maintenance support in duties such as, but not limited to the following.
Support the maintenance and production departments to improve reliability and safety of fixed plant
Work closely with the production team to ensure bakery equipment is running efficiently with minimal down time.
Carry out Preventative Maintenance as per our preventative maintenance program.
Welding repairs (all Stainless Steel) – MIG, TIG and MMA welding desirable.
Mechanical fitters with electrical/electronic qualifications is desirable.
Assist with key operator training across all shifts.
Ensure the work area remains safe, clean, and orderly while adhering to our Company Policies, local and state guidelines regarding health, safety, and sanitation.
Skills Required:
You will be able to demonstrate experience within a maintenance environment.
Organizational and time management skills.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy required.
Computer literate
Ensure all reported issues and possible improvements are addressed in a timely manner.
Ability to work as part of a team in a work environment that has high work volumes at times.
Multivac/Thermoform experience highly desirable, but not essential
