Maintenance General Helper
Full-Time, Monday - Friday, Various Shifts
DAILY:
• Vehicle provided, clean driving record required.
• Walk the properties and make notes as you go along for items that need to be addressed
• Pick up the trash
• Check all dumpster areas, clean up around dumpsters
• Determine where pressure washing is most needed for next time
• Turn on exterior lights and change light bulbs that are out
• Clean bird droppings, etc
• Clean light fixtures
• Any Maintenance issues?
• Liability issues - pavers, railings, etc
• Clean signage - directories, column signs at entrance, Offices at Promenade sign etc.
• Check all public restrooms - public and office building
• Have they been cleaned?
• Are there sufficient supplies?
• Are there toilets that are clogged or constantly running?
• Check public restrooms at the end of the day before you leave to make sure they are well stocked with supplies and all toilets are in working order.
• Check landscaping
• Pick up limbs, branches, sweep leaves, droppings etc.
• Any puddles or irrigation constantly running
• Shells or mulch needing to be swept back into the beds
ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
• Pressure washing, where needed
• Touch up paint - where needed
• Moving Furniture
• Installing Christmas decorations (including the use of a boom lift)
• Washing fleet
• Helping maintenance staff at other properties
• Occasional heavy labor required
