We have one of the largest horizontal infrastructure teams in the South Island working in the maintenance, civil, and water industry. The work we do strengthens the communities we work and play in, with several key long term maintenance contracts throughout the Canterbury region and a number of civil projects currently being completed throughout the South Island.
ABOUT THE ROLE | KO TE KAUPAPA
We are looking for an experienced Grader Operator with a keen interest in unsealed roads to join our team working on the Hurunui District Council Road Maintenance network. You will have a good knowledge of road construction methodology and standard specifications, as well as proven experience in all facets of grader operation.
This is a critical role that enables the successful applicant to have a high level of ownership, job satisfaction, and to be responsible for their day to day activities. You will be someone who can work quickly and efficiently while delivering quality work.

Multi skilled in the operation of graders
WTR endorsements
Class 4 Driver Licence
Class 5 Driver Licence (desirable)
STMS CAT A/B – Practicing or mobile (desirable)
Physically fit and self-motivated
Health and Safety conscious with a positive attitude
