About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to support our team at The Village Palms. Partnering with our Village Management Team, you will manage the maintenance of our modern boutique style village.
The Maintenance Supervisor plays a key part in our village ensuring our residents continue to enjoy extraordinary living experiences in a well presented and safe environment.
This is a hands-on maintenance role. In addition, you will be liaising and managing contractors for preventative and contract maintenance jobs.
Hours are Monday to Friday 8:30 - 5pm (40 hours per week) with an on-call component.
Key responsibilities will include:
Pre-empt & resolve maintenance related issues
Liaise with Contractors as a key point of contact
Manage preventative and planned maintenance schedules on all equipment and buildings within required standards.
Uphold compliance requirements and ongoing quality Improvement
Ensure Health and Safety standards are met and maintained on site.
Deliver high standard of handyperson service as required.
About you
A skilled communicator with a customer service focus keeping our residents at the core of what we do
Confidence and ability to use hand tools, power tools and operate maintenance machinery
Well-developed organisational and time management skills ensuring projects run on time or are kept within your pre-prepared budget
Good computer skills
