Full job description
The role:
A newly created role now exists within Unyte Southern's workshop team for a Maintenance Manager to jump onboard and lead our Southern Business unit’s maintenance team. We are seeking a driven individual, with a robust background in overseeing the maintenance, repair and management of heavy plant & equipment.
This is a full-time role based at our workshop in Spotswood.
Your every day:
Managing our maintenance team and driving productivity and profitability.
Managing the day-to-day planning and scheduling of preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs.
Conducting internal safety and quality audits on plant & equipment, ensuring compliance.
Ensuring a very strict adherence to health, safety, quality & environmental standards across the workshop.
Accurate record keeping and administrations across day-to-day operations.
Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure best outcome for business.
Who are you?
Bachelor's degree or certificate / associated diploma across Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical or related fields.
Solid understanding around heavy plant & equipment and wider systems maintenance.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to manage, lead and influence the wider team to achieve efficient outcomes.
Operational experience managing budgets, cost tracking and cost-saving initiatives.
