Maintenance Mech Helper

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Assists Maintenance Mechanic, Tool & Die Maker, Tool Room Machinist, Set-up Maker, and/or Jig Maker.

• Assists in testing equipment to check operation after repairs, changeovers, and extended downtime.

• Assists in examining, testing, and measuring product from assigned equipment for quality specifications, using gauges and instruments.

• Assists in preventive maintenance inspection of assigned equipment.

• May oil and grease equipment if needed.

• Keep work areas clean and orderly. Responsible for conducting all works in a safe manner.

• May perform other duties as requested.

• May participate on project teams as requested.
