• Repair and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as hoist motors, pumps, belts, fans air conditioners, conveyors, etc.
• Examines mechanical equipment to diagnose trouble
• Disassembles machines and repairs and replaces broken parts
• Uses all types of power tools and hand tools
• Repairs woodwork, minor electrical problems, plumbing and buildings.
• Adjustment of function parts or mechanical devices as necessary
• Perform electrical work to repair or maintain company equipment
• Move hazardous waste drums from still room to the hazardous waste storage area
• Install and configure new equipment as well as dismantle and replace defective or old parts and machines
• Plan and manage the repair and maintenance of all equipment and buildings
• Adjust necessary equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation
• Keep work area clean; observes all safety procedures
• Carries out preventative maintenance program for all production equipment, mechanical devices, building and land, including maintaining maintenance records and preventive maintenance checklists.

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 5 years of previous experience in an Industrial Maintenance position
• A working knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
• The ability to demonstrate mechanical / electrical knowledge through testing
• The ability to climb and work from ladders, manlifts, bridge cranes, and roofs in excess of 30 ft.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be a person of passion and integrity who has the drive to excel and deliver exceptional results
• Minimum five (5) years of previous experience in a general maintenance that has provided training in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and plumbing skills
• Must have a high awareness for safety at all times
• Must be able to work overtime as needed
• The ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment
• The ability to communicate and interact with co-workers in a positive manner
• Must be a person of passion and integrity who has the drive to excel and deliver exceptional results
• Salary range $24-$28/hour
