Maintenance Mechanic
Our client is an international food and beverage production company. They are currently looking for a maintenance mechanic to join their team in their state-of-the-art production facility in Calgary. The facility leverages advanced industrial equipment and the expertise of a large multi-skilled team to ensure products of the highest standards.
Responsibilities
• Maintain equipment, perform repairs, and conduct preventative maintenance
• Demonstrate working knowledge of mechanical maintenance troubleshooting and problem-solving principles and concepts
• Repair or replace defective machinery parts and rebuild parts as required
• Perform routine maintenance work on machinery
• Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
• Other related duties as required
Education & Experience
• A diploma or qualification in a mechanical discipline is an asset
• Previous related experience in industrial maintenance is an asset
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail and high-quality standards
• Positive attitude and self-starter
WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Personal Protective Equipment required in all work environments
• Work environments can vary between wet, dusty, cold, hot, and high noise conditions
• Work around automated equipment
WAGE RATE
$3+.00 per hour
