Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve issues with a variety of equipment
Thorough understanding of safety procedures and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
Experience with preventive maintenance practices and their implementation
Knowledge of electrical systems and ability to diagnose and repair faults
Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy machinery parts
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

Responsibilities
Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and respond to signs of malfunction
Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime, including cleaning and lubricating parts, replacing worn components, and testing machinery post-maintenance to ensure optimal performance
Troubleshoot equipment failures and perform necessary repairs swiftly and efficiently to minimize production downtime
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to understand equipment and controls
Adhere to all safety procedures, including lockout-tagout, personal protective equipment, fall protection, and others as required
Use welding tools to repair or replace parts as required
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work conducted, including preventive maintenance tasks
Collaborate with other team members and communicate effectively to ensure smooth operations
Diagnose faults in electrical systems and perform necessary repairs or replacements
