Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic in industrial equipment and electrical systems. The primary responsibility will be troubleshooting and diagnosing various components such as motors, gauges, pumps, conveyor systems, material handling equipment, and some automated equipment including PLCs and VFDs. Experience in a food production setting is preferred, but candidates with oilfield experience or maintenance technician backgrounds are also welcome.
Responsibilities
• Troubleshoot and diagnose components including motors, gauges, pumps, conveyor systems, and material handling equipment.
• Perform maintenance and repair on pumps, motors, belts, and gears.
• Work with basic hand tools (no need to supply your own).
• Handle some automated equipment such as PLCs and VFDs.
• Ensure equipment is functioning correctly to maintain production efficiency.
Essential Skills
• 2+ years of maintenance mechanic experience, preferably in a food production setting.
• Strong maintenance skills.
• Experience with pumps, motors, belts, and gears.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
• Basic knowledge of PLCs and VFDs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
• 2+ years of maintenance mechanic experience.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
