What does a Production Maintenance Mechanic do at Swire Coca-Cola?In the production plant the Maintenance Mechanic performs a variety of general facility maintenance. The production environment is operational 24/7 so the technician is responsible to maintain, repair, disassemble and troubleshoot complex equipment in charge of production processes. There is high speed automated production machinery, and other manufacturing equipment.
Responsibilities:
Provide Support to production lines by troubleshooting failures and other issues and making necessary repairs to production and facility equipment to maximize efficiencies
Complete all assigned work orders and preventative maintenance tasks through SAP
Participate in rebuilds and overhauls on production line and support equipment
Assist with parts management by ensuring parts are checked out of stock and communicating any deficiencies to the Parts Planner
Provide consistent communication with fellow maintenance staff through End of Shift reports
Support the Swire Manufacturing Continuous Improvement (SMCI) process by participating in established routines with production operators and following up on top causes of downtime
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Follow established safety, quality and environmental policies, practices, and programs
Operate with technical skill the SAP Computerized Maintenance Management system
Clean tools, parts and equipment after line rebuilds/repairs/maintenance
Install new equipment as necessary and provide technical expertise to train and support production with a continued desire for lean supply chain process initiatives and improvement
Operate and monitor equipment and replenish materials as needed
Quality reviews of equipment assigned to maintain safety and performance standards
