About the Role
As Maintenance Officer, you’ll be the go-to person for keeping our village safe, functional, and looking its best. Reporting to the Village Manager, this hands-on role involves a variety of maintenance tasks, problem-solving on the go, and building strong relationships with residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of buildings, facilities, and equipment
Respond promptly to urgent repair needs
Keep accurate records and manage inventory of tools and supplies
Engage professionally with residents, families, and staff
Support sustainability and continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain high standards of workplace health and safety
What We’re Looking For
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Adaptable with strong time-management skills
Physically fit (able to lift and move up to 15 kg)
Detail-oriented with a solutions-focused mindset
A team player aligned with Levande’s values and purpose
Desirable Qualifications
Experience in property, facility, or village maintenance
Trade qualification
Valid driver’s licence
