Through integration and collaboration, we're building a health system underpinned by partnership, equity, sustainability, whānau-centred care, and excellence.
About the Role

As the Maintenance Planner you will play a vital role within our Infrastructure and Investment Group (IIG) in the Te Manawa Taki Region. Your role ensures the availability and reliability of plant and clinical equipment across hospital and community-based sites by efficiently scheduling and coordinating maintenance activities.

You will be responsible for implementing planned preventative maintenance, producing work schedules, coordinating contractors, and supporting continuous improvement in maintenance planning. Serving over 1 million people, a fifth of New Zealand's population, and stretching across the middle of the North Island from the east to the west coasts, Te Manawa Taki means ‘the heartbeat'. The name reflects the geographical position of the region which includes five districts – Taranaki, Waikato, Lakes, Bay of Plenty and Tairāwhiti. Across the five districts, IIG manages infrastructure spanning 14 sites and more than 100 buildings.
