Job Description
Ten Live are seeking a skilled and qualified Plumber on behalf our our client, to carry out re-insulation of pipework within a hospital residence in Dumfries. The ideal candidate will have experience in plumbing and pipe insulation, working in environments requiring strict attention to detail and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Re-insulate pipework in accordance with project specifications.
Ensure all work meets health and safety regulations, particularly in a healthcare setting.
Inspect and evaluate existing insulation and pipework to determine the scope of repairs or replacements.
Collaborate with site management to ensure efficient completion of work within agreed timeframes.
Handle tools and materials in a safe and professional manner.
Ensure cleanliness and safety in the working area.
Qualifications And Skills
NVQ Level 2 or above in Plumbing (or equivalent certification).
Proven experience in pipework insulation and general plumbing tasks.
Ability to work independently and follow technical specifications.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
Experience working in hospital or healthcare environments is advantageous.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
