Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Maintenance Plumber/Drain Cleaning Technician to join our team, serving residential homeowners. In this role, you will diagnose and repair plumbing issues, clear clogs, and provide preventative maintenance for our clients. The ideal candidate is professional, personable, and driven to deliver top-notch service while upselling additional solutions that enhance the customer’s home comfort and plumbing system functionality.

Responsibilities

Residential Plumbing and Drain Maintenance:
Perform general plumbing repairs, fixture replacements, and drain cleaning services in single-family homes, condos, and duplexes.
Use professional-grade tools and equipment, such as augers, hydro-jetters, and cable machines, to clear blockages effectively.
Diagnostics and Problem Solving:
Evaluate and diagnose system issues, providing clear explanations and recommendations to homeowners.
Utilize basic camera inspection equipment to identify potential sewer or drain problems (advanced training provided).
Customer Service:
Deliver exceptional service with clear communication, ensuring the homeowner is informed and comfortable with proposed solutions.
Educate customers on maintenance to avoid future plumbing issues.
Inform customers about our service partner plan and establish continuing relationships with them.
Presenting Options/Estimates:
Present multiple service options focusing on the customer’s needs, wants, time, and budget after you have had great conversations with them. We are an upfront pricing company rather than time and materials, so explaining benefits of service is a key function of the role.
Earn spiffs and commissions on service agreements, product upgrades, and system enhancements.
Safety and Compliance:
Ensure all work adheres to local plumbing codes and safety standards.
Maintain a clean and professional work environment, including tools, equipment, and company vehicles.
Teamwork and Training:
Participate in ongoing training to expand skills and prepare for advancement opportunities.
Collaborate with the team to achieve company goals and maintain high levels of homeowner satisfaction.
Requirements

Experience:
1-2 years of experience in plumbing, drain cleaning, or a related field is highly desirable.
We will train skills for the person with the best character and fit for out company.
Skills:
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a focus on building trust and rapport with homeowners.
Sales aptitude with a customer-first approach.
Certifications:
Plumbing licenses or certifications are a plus.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in tight spaces, and perform physical tasks in residential environments.
