THE POSITION
The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Repairman 2 in the Bureau of Retail Infrastructure Development, Maintenance Division. This position performs skilled work in a variety of trades in order to prepare, maintain, and repair assigned Fine Wine & Good Spirits (FW&GS) stores, warehouses, and offices. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Maintenance Repairman 2, you will work independently and assist other workers in performing various maintenance related duties to the interior and exterior of leased premises in order to ensure safe and attractive facilities. You will have the opportunity to perform general maintenance, such as carpentry, electrical, read blueprints and schematics, paint, lay flooring, plumbing and report ongoing work progress. Work involves using a variety of construction and maintenance equipment and tools to complete assigned tasks. You will be expected to operate a variety of maintenance vehicles for transporting equipment, supplies, and materials throughout the region. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment
Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
This position is considered essential and is required to work or continue to work when an agency emergency has been declared.
Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or
Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.

Special Requirement:
This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.

You must be able to perform essential job functions.

You must pass a background investigation. An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code.
