The Opportunity -
The AH-64E Apache is the world's most advanced and proven attack helicopter. It integrates innovative technologies to aid the crew in decision making, offering a new level of battlefield dominance through enhanced performance, increased situational awareness, superior survivability, and improved target detection, acquisition and engagement.
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Requirements Determination Specialist,to support the AH-64E Apache helicopter program. The Australian Apaches will join the growing global fleet of more than 1280 aircraft operating in 18 countries, including coalition and regional partners.
The role is based in Enoggera, Brisbane with the Army customer in an integrated Attack Helicopter System Program Office (AHSPO).
As the Maintenance Requirements Determination Specialist you will:
Evaluates engineering and maintenance systems design for logistics supportability including configuration baseline discipline.
Supports engineering, logistics and maintenance teams to optimise the Apache support system.
Works with configuration management team to coordinate maintenance and production activities and changes.
Supports the maintenance and update of the Apache Logistics Support Model through provision of data.
Develops supportability data and identifies gaps and initiates resolution to meet support objectives.
Analyses and develops preliminary task and resource requirements.
Develops repair level analysis and scheduled maintenance programs.
Supports the development of life cycle costs.
Performs the role of eMRD and eLSA expert practitioner for the program.
Action Maintenance Policy Information and/or Amendment request forms as applicable. (EE400s/EE401s/MIERs/etc.)
Gain and exercise required AASB Engineering Authority: Logistics Engineer, MRD Practitioner, Maintenance Policy Approval Employee.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
5 years + relevant experience in an MRD role.
A superior knowledge of Defence Aviation Safety Regulations.
Experience using eMRD and eLSA in the performance of LSA support.
Experience within the defence aviation sector as a qualified MRD analyst or engineer.
Meet Defence security and ITAR requirements.
