Job Description
This building company builds new homes across Sydney's housing subdivisions in the north and south west. They also develop large lots of land for themselves and are well-known in the Sydney housing market as being highly innovative with their designs and materials, along with their stand-out product.
The company is very established, so has all systems and procedures in place for this department to run smoothly. The role is working on homes at handover stage and coordinating trades and materials to fix all problems and liaising with the client.
Key Responsibilities of the Maintenance Supervisor include
Visit homes and do all final inspections
Coordinate trades people to complete all required works on time and to a set level of quality
Maintain and stick to set standard and codes and to be familiar with the BCA and these relevant standards
Perform organise and plan all maintenance work and follow up accordingly
Allocate resources to ensure that all maintenance work is completed on time
Man-in-van - will involve minor repair works, hands-on role
Report to the Construction Manager
To be successful in the role of Maintenance Supervisor you will possess
A solid trade background or time in a similar role
Project home software experience is ideal - but must be good with computers
Solid understanding of NCC, local building codes, tolerances and standards
Valid license and willingness to drive Sydney-wide for site visits and speak to clients
Strong communication skills to speak regularly with clients
