Job Description
Key Responsibilities: Equipment Support & Maintenance Assist in the daily maintenance and repairs of production machinery (e.g., conveyors, packaging machines, mixers, labeling machines). Help execute preventive maintenance schedules as per standard operating procedures (SOPs). Monitor equipment performance and report irregularities or breakdowns. Technical Assistance Support electricians, fitters, and technicians during installations or breakdowns. Provide assistance during mechanical and electrical troubleshooting. Participate in equipment overhauls during planned shutdowns. Documentation & Reporting Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities (work orders, maintenance logs, etc.). Report potential hazards or performance issues to the supervisor. Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow lockout/tagout procedures. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized maintenance workshop. Spare Parts & Inventory Help monitor and manage spare parts stock levels. Retrieve tools and components as required for maintenance tasks.
