Full job description
We are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Warehouse Technician to oversee warehouse organization, equipment readiness, and supply management. This role is critical to daily operations and requires someone who can repair and maintain floor care equipment, manage inventory, and hold team members accountable for proper equipment use and return.
Key Responsibilities
Equipment Maintenance & Repair
Diagnose, service, and perform minor to moderate repairs on:
Carpet extractors
Floor machines
Burnishers and buffers
Vacuums and related equipment
Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and inspections
Track equipment condition and downtime
Coordinate outside repairs when necessary
Warehouse Organization
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse
Ensure equipment is staged, labeled, and ready for daily deployment
Implement and maintain check-in / check-out procedures
Organize tools, chemicals, and parts for quick access
Inventory & Supply Management
Monitor inventory levels for chemicals, pads, parts, and supplies
Order supplies as needed while controlling costs
Receive, stock, and track deliveries
Maintain accurate inventory records
Accountability & Process Enforcement
Ensure employees properly check out, return, and care for equipment
Report damage, misuse, or missing equipment
Help enforce company standards for equipment handling and warehouse cleanliness
Communicate issues or recurring problems to management

Qualifications
Experience maintaining or repairing floor care equipment (preferred)
Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Warehouse or facilities experience a plus

Comfortable holding employees accountable in a professional manner
Ability to lift and move equipment (up to 50 lbs)
Basic computer or inventory system skills
