Job Description
We are looking for a maintenance superstar with a positive can do attitude to join our Maintenance team!
What you will be doing:
Assist the Chief Engineer and team with day to day maintenance requirements of all hotel plant and equipment, as well as general upkeep of the rooms.
Maintain high standards of appearance and safety for grounds and rooms.
Complete daily rounds and promptly respond to and resolve maintenance requests.
Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with Accor WHS standards.
Ensure proper use, maintenance, and storage of all equipment.
Ensure compliance with external contractor management processes.
Complete tasks in required timeframes.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a similar Maintenance role is ideal, with a previous trade background preferred (Carpentry, Electrical, or Plumbing).
Basic knowledge in areas of HVAC, Painting, and computer skills.
Great attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Must be friendly and approachable with good communication skills.
Effective time management and problem-solving ability.
Physically fit to be able to carry out day to day Maintenance requirements.
Flexible to work shifts on weekends as required.
