Maintenance Technician

Qualifications

Experience: Have 3 years’ minimum experience in a manufacturing environment with proven technical skills

Preferably to be in the poultry field

Must also be a team player, possess electrical, hydraulic, troubleshooting and conveyor systems experience and also have the ability to work independently

Demonstrated ability to operate computer systems

Be a proven leader with strong interpersonal skills

Be able to operate under pressure with constantly changing priorities and deadlines

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Maintenance Technical training would be great but not required

Responsibilities

Be able to prioritize requests based on current needs

Adapt to a flexible work style and willingly assist other functions where needed

Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment

Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production

Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties

Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and adjust

Ability to work with Chemicals

Perform all other duties as assigned or needed

Schedule: Full time Monday – Saturday, and Sundays as required
