Junior Maintenance Technician – Motel 6
Motel 6 is looking for a hands-on, reliable Junior Maintenance Technician to help keep our hotel safe, clean, and running smoothly. If you enjoy problem-solving, working independently, and being part of a team, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Perform basic maintenance and repairs in guest rooms and public areas
Support pool and hot tub maintenance, including daily water testing
Assist with carpet cleaning, painting, drywall repair, and general upkeep
Maintain parking lot cleanliness and exterior appearance
Monitor tools and supplies and maintain organized work areas
Work closely with Housekeeping and Front Desk on maintenance needs
Follow all safety procedures and complete daily maintenance logs
Qualifications:
Previous maintenance experience preferred (hotel experience an asset)
Basic knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, painting, and general repairs
Strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills
Ability to lift moderate weight and work weekends
Schedule:
Approx. 35 hours/week, Wednesday–Sunday. Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager and working alongside senior maintenance staff.
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
