Position: Maintenance Technician Night Shift
As a Trex Maintenance Technician you'll be working in a team environment to support production equipment repairs and upgrades, perform general and preventive maintenance. Design, development and implementation of new products and process equipment.
A member of our maintenance team, you'll be helping us ensure a productive and safe work environment. Maintenance Technicians roles require both working knowledge and responsibility for electrical and mechanical maintenance duties.
DUTIES
• Repair and maintain preventive maintenance on all mechanical systems including weight feeders, scales, conveyors, hot oil, steam, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and equipment.
• Repair all electrical, electronic systems including servo equipment, photo eyes, electronic sensors, temperature controls and combustion equipment.
• Troubleshooting of programmable logic controls including understanding of ladder logic.
• Responsible for metal fabrication, machining, facility maintenance and preventative maintenance to the facility and all equipment.
• Participate in the management and maintenance of the parts inventory system, including researching equipment to determine parts required.
• Support engineering in the improvement and/or development and implementation of new products and processes.
• Perform housekeeping duties to keep plant appearance at an acceptable and safe manner.
• Working knowledge of motors, drives, control wiring and PLC's required.
Physical Demands:
In this role, you must be able to lift 50 pounds, be able to work from heights, stand for extended periods and climb ladders.
Work Environment:
This job takes place in and around a manufacturing facility. This role will be exposed to a wide variety of environmental situations, including a wide range of temperatures. Position entails a significant of time wearing a harness in a boom lift, up to 30+ feet off the ground. Work may occasionally take place in confined spaces, and employee will be expected to wear the appropriate PPE.
EXPERIENCE
You'll need to have a minimum of two years' previous experience in maintenance role but if you've worked in industrial or preventative maintenance mechanic, you're Trex material for sure.
