The position: We are seeking to fill a Maintenance Technician position. Under general supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor or designee, perform service requests in occupied and vacant units, housekeeping, and repairs of vacated units, perform and monitor property curb appeal, provide customer service and lease enforcement with residents. Train and mentor Vacate Technicians. Work with outside contractors, residents, and management staff as IPM representatives. For additional information on the job, please see the full job description.

The ideal candidate has:
Must have at least twelve months of relevant experience as a Vacate Technician or equivalent.
Three years of work experience in general apartment maintenance.
Must have demonstrated ability to work with culturally diverse populations, seniors, and persons with disabilities.
High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Relevant work experience may be substituted for educational requirement up to three years.
Must possess and maintain a valid Washington State Driver's License and a fully insurable driving record.
What will you do?
Repair and perform basic service requests in occupied and vacant units with minimal supervision
Perform general cleaning, maintenance, and groundskeeping tasks.
Monitor wear and tear in units.
Assist with unit and common area inspections.
Communicate lease enforcement concerns with management and residents.
Coordinate move-ins and move-outs with Management.
Participate in the development and implementation of goals, work plans, and performance measure
Attend required training and safety meetings.
Perform essential functions of the Maintenance Technician position.
Perform related duties as assigned.
