Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a variety of industrial production equipment and systems. This role includes troubleshooting, diagnosing, and maintaining mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems to ensure optimal functionality and efficiency.

Essential Job Functions:
• Install, maintain, and repair a variety of equipment including refrigeration units, water heaters, boilers, air compressors, fan coil units, and air handling units.
• Perform filter changes, lubrication, bearing replacements, and drive belt replacements.
• Fabricate minor sheet metal work and ducting as needed.
• Modify refrigeration systems and software to improve performance.
• Conduct safety and HAZMAT inspections to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Provide preventative maintenance and repair services on refrigeration and air conditioning equipment.
• Maintain and manage an inventory of necessary supplies, parts, and materials.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical equipment issues.
• Perform equipment failure analyses and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Document maintenance and repair activities through technical reports.
• Assist with higher-level technician duties and other related responsibilities as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Six (6) months of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues efficiently.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Boiler License.
• Level 1 Refrigeration Certification with the ability to pass Level 2 certification.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking) is a plus.
• Experience with equipment modifications to improve operational efficiency.
• Willingness to work in varying temperature conditions and on flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand, walk, and use hands in repetitive motion.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 10 lbs.
• Ability to work in environments with varying temperatures, ranging from 35°F to +5°F.
• Ability to work with moving mechanical parts, chemicals, and airborne particles.
• Vision requirements include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
