JOB DESCRIPTION
• Processing and posting journal entries for expenses, income, payment, receipts, claims, invoices, etc. • Closing of books, MIS preparation, bank reconciliation, inventory records, AP/AR accounting, maintenance of fixed asset register, etc • Working on processing tax payments like TDS, service tax, VAT, etc • Clearing open items and reconciling aged items in Balance Sheet along with preparation of various Balance Sheet Reconciliations for tax, intercompany, other income, accruals accounts etc • Variance/ Flux analysis after closing of books as per pre-defined templates • Preparation of trial balance and year-end financial statement (including cash flow statement) and assist in audit • Data analysis to identify trends and/or support tax audits and data manipulation in and out of Excel to support the team’s activities • Interact with client representatives for ongoing requirements of the project • Analysts usually work on multiple clients at any given point in time • Consistently deliver quality client services • Ensure that stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes • Demonstrate basic technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Demonstrate ability to assimilate to new knowledge
