This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week
The remuneration for this role is $83,0+6 to $117,312 with a midpoint of $+7,760 (including KiwiSaver) depending on skills and experience.
The opportunity
As our Management Accountant, you will be contributing to monthly management reporting internally and support the delivery of monthly external reports to councils. You will provide fact-based analysis and insights, and accurate budgeting and forecasting information. With your adept communication skills, you will be able to tell the story beyond the numbers.
You will get to:
Assist with high quality management reporting across the organisation
Prepare and collate and forecast information gathered from across the organisation
Provide variance analysis to help inform decision making
Assist with annual budgets and provide regular reporting
Work in a collaborative environment and help support the finance team and wider organisation.
About you
To be successful in this role you will bring the following:
Chartered Accountant preferred, or working towards this
Three plus years of post qualification accounting experience
Strong collaborative skills with the ability to gather forecasting information across the business
High attention to detail with strong analytical skills
Exposure to complex budgeting and forecasting processes in a large organisation, with experience in Technology One preferred
