We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Manager - IC
Department Overview:
DBS Lending Documentation team (“LDT”) provides support to the business. The teams core activities center around the reconciliation and production of documentation/security in relation to CARM Credit submissions.
Responsibilities:
• Undertake security and documentation related work, as part of the credit application process, in an accurate and timely manner, exceeding established performance and quality standards. This will include:
• Identification & reconciliation of security held by the bank in respect of clients.
• Any anomalies brought to the attention of the RM Team and investigations made as necessary
• Liaising with the banks Securities Processing Centre
• Origination of requests for new security items to be prepared by security team.
• Initial checks of presence and enforceability of security on return of documentation
• Action of withdrawal requests of security items from security team.
• Preparation of facility letters, bi-lateral loan agreements and other documentation as required.
• Analysis of clean executed documents and authorized signatory’s basis given Board resolution so to have a limit loading in order.
• Check if condition precedents have been take care of prior to limit loading.
• Advise RM teams when dispensation is required
• Proactive liaison with RMs/Associates and related business such as Legal
• Assist in ad hoc reconciliation’s as need arises
• To actively participate in, and contribute to, a working environment in which creativity thrives and processes and productivity are continuously improved
• Resolve basic credit documentation/security queries on a day to day basis
• To strive for excellence in customer service
Requirements
• A post – graduate diploma or degree (management degree preferred).
• Ability to multi-tasks between IC and Operations role
• Should be good at prioritization skills.
• 8+ years of work experience in Operations role.
• Excellent Communication skills (written & verbal)
• Ability to interact with Executive Management
• Demonstrated Project Management & Co-ordination skills
• Strong analytical skills with ability to quickly interpret data & facts to arrive at meaningful inference
• Self-motivated
• Good understanding of activities within Service Delivery
• Process knowledge / SME in Credit Services is essential
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams. Strong interpersonal skills and drive for success
• Minimum Degree in Business, Economics or equivalent or Additional Financial qualification would be an advantage.
