Role Overview

We are looking for a Management Trainee – Social Media who will assist in managing Genions’ social media presence, content execution, and online community engagement. This role is ideal for someone who understands social platforms, enjoys content creation, and wants hands-on exposure to brand building in a fast-growing edtech startup.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management

Manage daily posting and scheduling across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn
Assist in planning monthly content calendars aligned with campaigns, events, and product updates
Ensure brand tone and consistency across all platforms
Content Coordination

Coordinate with designers, video editors, and internal teams for creatives and reels
Assist in writing captions, hashtags, basic scripts, and content briefs
Support execution of short videos, reels, stories, and posts
Community & Engagement

Monitor comments, DMs, and messages; respond in a timely and brand-appropriate manner
Engage with parents, educators, and followers to build an active community
Track FAQs, feedback, and recurring user queries
Campaign & Growth Support

Support organic growth initiatives, contests, and influencer collaborations
Assist in promoting app updates, new features, events, and exhibitions
Help execute social media campaigns during expos, fairs, and on-ground events
Analytics & Reporting

Track basic performance metrics (reach, engagement, followers, clicks)
Prepare weekly/monthly social media performance reports
Share insights and improvement suggestions
Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (Marketing, Media, Management, or any relevant field preferred)
Strong written communication skills in English (Hindi is a plus)
Good understanding of creativity, visual storytelling, and content aesthetics, with a genuine passion for creating engaging digital content
Basic knowledge of social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn
Strong interest in content creation, branding, and digital marketing trends
Comfortable working with and coordinating across creative and tech teams
Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn, experiment, and take ownership of responsibilities
Good to Have (Not Mandatory)

Basic knowledge of Canva, Figma, or video editing tools
Interest in kids’ education, AR/VR, or edtech products
Prior experience handling a social media page (college fest, brand, personal page)
Training & Growth

Initial 3-month training/probation period
Hands-on exposure to real brand campaigns and app marketing
Opportunity to convert into a full-time Social Media / Marketing Executive based on performance
