Every day, we are focused on delivering value, convenience, expertise and innovation for individuals, businesses, and institutional investors we serve worldwide. • BA Continuum is a nonbank subsidiary of Bank of America, part of Global Business Services in the bank Process Overview BACI Vendor Management and Governance Team is a key part of the CAO team which manages multiple vendor engagements who are providing Transportation and related services across all GBS locations in line with Global Vendor Management Program guidelines. This team also monitors vendors’ adherence to labour law and other allied performance measures to BACI. With transport being a key central function for the organization the role requires end-to-end oversight, including issue identification and escalation of Vendor’s risk and performance, including the understanding and management of Compliance Risk. Job Description BACI Vendor Management and Governance team is looking for a leader to manage the day to day governance of existing vendors and implement strong business practices and provide ongoing formal governance. The individual will be an integral member of the BACI team to take ownership of overall management of BACI’s current and future vendor relationships. The role requires working with multiple stakeholders (Finance, Sourcing, Vendor representatives, BCMR, Delivery teams etc.) on vendor related activities with often competing priorities. The individual will be required to ensure all vendor governance related deliverables are completed and ensure the team is performing at optimum levels at all times. Responsibilities • Ensure adherence to Third Party routines used to govern the third party process, secure approvals, debate individual risk issues, discuss third party escalations, etc. • Ensure that vendor service performance is effectively managed and monitored, and issues are dealt with promptly and in line with contractual obligations • Drive process change by integrating new processes with existing ones. Maintain the proper balance between the need for change and the potential detrimental impact of changes to processes. • Lead standardized governance meetings in accordance with best practices in areas such as SLA assurance, KPI reporting, audit and compliance, service performance management, change control, issue management, project management, communication management/education, etc. • Creation of executive review materials / presentations and participate / present in review meetings with BACI senior leadership and supplier management teams • Measurement of supplier performance against current / future KPI and SLA. Identification and management of risk and issues regarding vendor capability in the execution of their responsibilities • Day-to-day operational controls and oversight. Escalation for performance issues. • Collaborate and work closely with end business owners and operations teams to ensure that the right scope of services are delivered with the appropriate service level attainment. • Develop and manage risk management and governance health checks to ensure compliance with BACI policies, internal audit and external regulatory requirements • Collaborate with other key enablers/partners e.g. Legal, Sourcing, Finance, Compliance to ensure all upstream and downstream processes are executed timely • Work within Vendor Governance team to identify tactical and strategic opportunities to reduce cost, improve productivity and quality of services delivered. Take ownership of and drive to resolution key opportunities to maximize value from contracts through consolidation of services, delivery methodology as appropriate • Overall responsibility for end to end billing related operations across all vendors • Ensure publishing of all key MIS relating to vendor management and governance as per agreed timelines. • Ensure adherence to all contractual terms and conditions as agreed with the vendor. • Drive process improvement/automation initiatives.
