Seva Sadan is a 117-year-old non-profit organisation. We run a Residential Home for underprivileged girls, schools in English and Marathi medium, a teachers’ training college, and offer skill development programs. Managed by a voluntary committee, we impact approximately 700 beneficiaries annually and have a legacy of over a century of service.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Manager – Accounts to join our accounts team. Our operations are covered under FCRA and GST, providing exposure to diverse financial activities, making this an exciting opportunity for a finance professional. The position calls for a detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced individual who can ensure accurate financial management, compliance, and reporting across all areas of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Accounts Management: Complete handling of accounts from data entry to finalization, including cash management for fees collection, retail catering, and other activities. Ensure timely payments are made and duly authorized as per Society policies.
· Compliance & Statutory Requirements: Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, including PF, GST, FCRA, TDS, and Income Tax, including regular filings and staying updated on amendments. Liaise with statutory auditors for annual audits, finalization of accounts, and compliance matters; coordinate with external consultants on GST, PF, ESIC, and related issues.
· Financial Planning & Reporting: Prepare and furnish monthly department-wise MIS statements, suggest improvements for operational control, and assist in financial planning and annual budget preparation in consultation with respective Committees.
· Banking & Investments: Handle bank matters and transactions, including e-banking, maintain good relations with bankers, ensure fiscal discipline, control expenditure, and optimize returns on investments.
· Donor Management: Prepare fundraising proposal budgets and fund utilization statements for donors.
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Accounting (required); CA-Inter (preferred).
Minimum 5 years of total work experience with at least 3 years in accounting or finance management.
Hands-on experience with Tally and all aspects of finance and account finalisation.
Familiarity with statutory compliance (GST, FCRA, payroll, banking). Exposure to FCRA is a plus.
Detail-oriented, high energy, and proactive in taking ownership of work.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
