• Establish internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions.
• Manage and oversee end to end accounting functions.
• Manage and oversee the daily, month end close and year end close processes.
• Preparation of business activity reports, financial budgets and forecasts.
• Preparation of periodic financial reports and ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles.
• Coordinate with tax consultants and provide information requested for filing of tax returns.
• Coordinate with statutory auditors and provide information requested for annual audit.
• Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
• Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Excellent management and supervisory skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in accounting software, preferably in Sage Intacct.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Experience in managing an accounting department, preferably in a US based company.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's/PG degree in accounting is a must.
• Qualified/Semiqualified professional degree is an added advantage.
• Atleast 10 years of relevant experience with a minimum of 2 yrs of experience in a managerial position in Accounting.
