The Position
This role is based in Mumbai & reports to Head of Finance & Company Secretary India & Neighbouring Markets.
Job Responsibilities:
1)Review of Local accounting process & adherence to policies & standards: - To Ensure that accounting is done as per local GAAP & IFRS guidelines. It includes preparing the Inventory provision & other provisions for smooth month end & Yearend closure of books of Accounts. Also includes adherence to Global SOPs & updates.
2)Audit co-ordination & completion: - This includes understanding & communicating the team & cross functions on Statutory & Internal Audit requirements & turnaround timelines. It includes preparation of notes & support to CCA for preparation of financials statements & other schedules.
3)Internal Controls for Financial Reporting (ICFR) - To ensure approvals & workflows are obtained as per guidelines.
4)Managing Accounts Payable Function& employee reimbursements (Concur) and related MIS
5)Responsible for Fixed Assets (Instruments) & Equipment master in SAP including the reconciliation as per ICFR guidelines.
6)Responsible for monitoring treasury operations such Import & export documentations (LC), Intercompany payments and financing arrangement with banks and fund management/Cash forecasts.
7)Responsible for reporting requirement of Banks, RBI & other reports at regular intervals.
8)Bangladesh Entity - Accounting and coordination, including month end reporting and all related activities.

Who You Are:
You will have a successful and considerable proven track record in leading people, preferably acquired in the healthcare industry. To be considered for this role, you will need Degree educated or equivalent in engineering, scientific or related field and to evidence your success in service delivery a proven track record of developing strong relationships with key stakeholders to the highest decision making level leading to successful business outcomes. A strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to prioritize and deliver, you can drive change and adoption of new concepts.
With confidence and passion, you will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be able to communicate with maximum impact.
Resilient, tenacious, you strive under pressure, working effectively as part of a close-knit team in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment with shifting priorities and multiple deadlines. With strong analytical skills, you are at ease working with technical and scientific information.
